Chimgan

From Tashkent before the sunrise on the east, on the background of light sky, painted with daybreak, it’s easy to see blue silhouette. Its serrated contour is locked horizon on the large extent.  In clear winter days on this place a snow-white wall with deep dark blue shades is visible here. This white-blue wall, overcoming the district of Tashkent from the east is mountains and spurs of the Western Tien Shan. Rising higher than three thousand meters above a sea level, they carry on the tops the cover of eternal snow which goes down till the foot in winter period. In 85 kilometers from the capital of Uzbekistan, in the spurs of Chatkal's backbone on the height of 1600 meters  large tourist mountain-skier complex «Chimgan» is located. The main top of all adjoining mountain district is Large Chimgan (3309 m.), as the central peak of giant star, from which the rays of slopes do out in all parts, in the same time decorated by rocky lances. Chimgan is «green slope», wonderful place for mountain-skiing, trips or simply rest.

Natural and climate terms of Chhimgan boundary are such that tsar's governor general at the end of the nineteenth century built a house for himself in these places, after him all public and elite also began to build on your own cottages, and farther more sanatoriums in these unusual places.
There are two roads reducing to Chimgan: one road passes on the valley of the river Gal'vasay with picturesque steep slopes, this road is the shortest to the Chimgan boundary, the second way goes along the river Chirchik and goes by the Khodzhikent city, famous for its chaikhanas, coniferous forests and ancient pictures on rocks. In these places the competitions of youths are conducted on skalolazaniyu. Then it rises above Charvak’s  weir, where  magnificent view is opened on the mountain storage pool.
A mountain-skier season here begins in January and continues till the middle of March. Chimgan routes are equipped with arm-chair rope road (ARR), rope tow road (RTR) and  few  ski  tugs,  located on different slopes of CHimgan. Black and red routes are located on a basic mountain-skier slope (there are 4-5 of them), which is served an arm-chair rope road. Red and dark blue routes are situated on the slopes of spur of main top which is equipped by the rope tow. The extent of routes are from 700 to 1000m. All routes for beginners are equipped with the ski tugs sparse on all mountain-skier resort.

Description of the program:
8 days / 7nights

1 day. Arrival to Tashkent, warm meeting in the Airport. Comfortable transfer to the hotel. Supper, acquaintance with tour operators, talks all about.
2 day. Cheerful awakening. Desirably early breakfast, transfer to the mountain district of Chimgan, talks about professionalism of rolling of participants during the way, disputes about the technique of rolling, about beauty of Chimgan mountains. Placing on a tourist center or hotel.
Quick collecting on the mountain, meeting at the rope road.
3-7 day. Free days for rolling. Merry suppers, everybody are shared impression about the conducted day.
8 day. Breakfast, transfer to Tashkent, visit of the market to buy different east wonders. Stormy send-offs at the Airport, real masculine tears, strong handshakes, and promises to meet next season.
Small advice: to take more time for vacation, to visit surprising cities Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva also.
