One of the important directions of "Mercury Tour" activity is promotion to the market of Uzbekistan of international conception of business tourism and MICE industry. Wherein does the essence of business tourism consist?

Business tourism - are journeys with official aims without receipt ion of profits at the place of sending on an assignment. Business tourism is subdivided into the actually business trips (business trips) of businessmen and entrepreneurs, congress-exhibit ional and incentive-tourism. Unlike the mass tourism decision about a business trip, sources and sizes of its financing business accept usually not by the tourists themselves («tourists at work», discharging the professional duties outside ordinary environment), but other persons, (leader or holder of company, chief of department of firm and other). Business tourism is considered the basic segment of hospitality in the world, to one of most dynamically developing, anchorwomen, independent and highly remunerative industries of world economy. It acknowledged business public as the most prominent phenomenon of the ХХ and especially XXI centuries.

What is it MICE industry?

MICE industry is capacious concept.  It consists of a few key words, that constitute the well known English-language abbreviation of «MICE», widely applied by the western specialists of industry of meetings for denotation of constituents of business tourism. Abbreviation is formed by the first letters of the English words: M – Meetings, I – Incentives (encouraging journeys), C – Congresses, E – Events.
